Bush Mango Drum & Dance presents “Wongai!” this April.
Wongai! (which means “Let’s go!”) is an explosion of polyrhythmic music and dynamic dance performed by Rochester’s own Bush Mango Drum & Dance. Led by Musical Director Fana Bangoura and Artistic Director Colleen Hendrick, this charismatic group is a powerhouse of energy known to deliver a rich and rewarding experience.

Bush Mango’s 13 member, multi-generational company will perform the traditional rhythms and movements of Guinea, West Africa in this sure-to-inspire evening of drumming and dancing.
