Bush Mango Drum and Dance will be closed

August 20th - September 6th.

Each August we close for two weeks to prepare the building, our bodies and our
hearts for the year ahead. We hope that all of our students will also take some
time to enjoy the last days of summer.

We look forward to seeing you all in September.
The first evening class will be Tuesday, September 7th.
The first Yoga class will be on Saturday, September 11th from 8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
Youth Project classes also begin on Saturday, September 11th.

Thank you all for a great year and we are looking forward to a wonderful 2010 - 2011!

Take a look at our 'weekly classes' tab to see the full schedule!

Bush Mango Drum & Dance was co-founded by Blair Hornbuckle and Colleen Hendrick and has been serving the Rochester, New York community since 1989.

West African drum and dance is at the core of all we do at our 34 Elton Street home.

You can find our professional company performing all over New York State!  Visit the Events and Performances page to stay up to date.

We teach adults Monday - THursday evenings. Visit our Drum and Dance Classes Page.

Our program for youth is extensive! Visit Youth Project under  Drum and Dance Classes.

We can be found teaching and performing in schools through-out the region weekly! Visit the Community Programs page to find our Arts in Education news.

The love, support, and respect our daughter receives at Bush Mango has done so much to boost her self image and bolster her confidence. You’ve been instrumental in her growth toward becoming a young woman. Thank you, your immeasurable impact is so very appreciated.
