Youth Project Classes 2010 - 2011
What is Youth Project? Since 1989 this Saturday program has provided kids from 5 to 18 a place to experience drum and dance in a supportive, encouraging, and directed way. The kids at Youth Project know what is expected of them -- and they reach their goals. Participants achieve a high sense of self-esteem by meeting the challenges inherent in drum and dance. The polyrhythmic music and complex movements give them a chance to stretch and grow, going beyond what many initially think they are capable of. Space is limited, so please call 585-235-3960 first for a pre-admission screening. Bush Mango Drum & Dance is offering two weeks of intensive joy for your child! For more information on our 2010 Summer Day Camp, August 2 to August 13, call us at 585 235-3960, or download the PDF info packet. Because our Bush Mango Summer Camp was such a big hit last year, most kids are returning for more
summer fun and personal development: mentorship in the arts and
business, visual art projects with Shawn Dunwoody, swimming, writing,
singing, and of course, lots of drum & dance. Plus a BIG performance
at the end for all the families. This a great opportunity to go deeper
into the art, and mix with kids from all over our region, city and
suburban, many different ages (5-16 years). Apply now to make sure your child gets to participate,
as we just don't have enough space, drums, and teachers for everyone
who wants to be involved. So please take care of that right away, by downloading the PDF , printing out the appication form, and mailing it in.
